- Songs of suitable level for their exam pieces. Includes both strumming and plucking.

6. Music Theory
- Transposition

7. Introducing more of barred chords
- Sharps and flats
- Family members of the sharps and flats
8. Fraction chords
- How do they fraction?
- Which is the bass and which is the harmony?
9. Techniques
- Right hand (more difficult strumming and plucking grooves)
- Left hand (barred chords, fraction chords)
10. Introducing the use of capo
- What is the purpose of a capo?
- Using the theory of transposition how do we apply it?
- Advantages and disadvantages of using the capo?
11. Exercises
- Songs of suitable level for their exam pieces. Includes both strumming and plucking.
- Testing the knowledge of using the capo.
